Why the name Primitive Baptist? 

Primitive Baptist ancestors have been called by various names over the ages. The name Primitive Baptist became popular in the early 1800s when the term primitive conveyed the idea of originality rather than backwardness. Accordingly, Primitive Baptists claim to maintain the doctrines and practices of the original Baptists,

Church Services

Bible Studies: All members of the church are encouraged to participate in an available Bible Study program. Bible Studies are held on Tuesday evenings.

Sunday School:  We have Sunday school classes available for all age ranges.

Our Pastor

Terry Lamar Price, Sr. is the son of Mrs. Mauldrene Edwards and the grandson of Mrs. Floreeta F. Garson. Elder Price started in the church at a young age.  Elder Terry Price was called into the ministry on June, 1998. He delivered his first sermon two months later on August 5th.   The Subject Text was “Don’t Get Caught up in Tradition” taken from Mark 7:5.
